Pediatrics Seminar coming to Ireland in July
The ICA Pediatrics Council will be holding a seminar on Chiropractic Pediatrics at the Radisson Hotel and Spa in Limerick (10 minutes from Shannon Airport), Ireland, July 28-29, 2007. Speakers are Dr. Lora Tanis and Dr. Sharon Vallone This will be an in-depth seminar covering pre-natal, birth, neonatal and infant care, with hands-on demonstrations of appropriate adjusting techniques. Both the speakers are Diplomates in Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCPs) and instructors on the 3-year DICCP program administered by Palmer College of Chiropractic in the USA and the New Zealand School of Chiropractic in Australia/Auckland. Dr. Tanis is chair of the ICA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics and a full-time practitioner in New Jersey. Because of her extensive practice experience with children from premature infants to older children, Dr. Tanis is able to correlate her teaching with actual clinical cases that makes the learning experience that much more effective and practical. Dr. Sharon Vallone is a dedicated practitioner and excellent teacher who is widely published, written many papers on pediatrics and pregnancy and serves as co-editor of the Journal of Clinical Chiropracti Pediatrics. She has presented widely nationally and internationally at chiropractic as well as multidisciplinary conferences and symposiums. This seminar has not been presented before.
