NYCC co-sponsors Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics starting in Long Island in Nov 2009
Doctors interested in becoming board certified in chiropractic pediatrics shoud enroll in the Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCP) co-sponsored by the New York College of Chiropractic. Year classes will start in Long Island November 14-15, 2009. The DICCP program is the ONLY pediatrics program endorsed by both the ICA and ACA Pediatrics Councils . It should not be confused with other pediatric certification programs that are not endorsed by the ICA or ACA.
Year I ongoing in Chicago is co-sponsored by Palmer College and New York Chiropractic College is co-sponsoring the program in New York. There is still time to register for the class in New York. The DICCP is a 3-year program that leads to board certification. It is the only pediatrics postgraduate program with a defined syllabus and requiring classroom attendance (including one special observational/training weekend at a special needs children's center) for all 360 hours.
