ICA Pediatrics Council to Celebrate 25th Annual Conference December 9-11, 2016 in Maui, Hawaii
The ICA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics will be celebrating its 25th anniversary of presenting excellent continuing education for chiropractic practitioners caring for children and pregnant women at its Annual Conference on Chiropractic & Pediatrics, December 9-11, 2016 in the beautiful island of Maui in Hawaii. Speakers with expertise in different specialties and extensive practice experience will present a variety of topics clinically relevant to the chiropractic family practitioner. Topics cover the gamult from the role of movement and neurodevelopment, intrauterine constraint, epigenetics, technique procedures to research papers,evidence-based documentation, and much more. In celebration of this milestone in the Council's history, there will be a gala event on Saturday, December 10 with a Hawaiin Luau.culminating with the graduation of the 2016 International Diplomates in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCPs) from Canada, Australia and New Zealand. "This is a special year for us," said ICA Pediatrics Council Chair Dr. Lora Tanis. "We invite all our colleagues to come and join us in Maui. The Council has not only provided consistent and superior continuing education for DCs since 1991, but it has sought to raise the bar on chiropractic pediatric education through its conferences, symposiums and postgraduate program so that the care doctors of chiropractic provide infants, children and women meets high standards of care, is clinically effective, safe and appropriate."
