Pediatrics Symposium in London in September offers exciting combination of research papers and clinical lectures by exceptional speakers
The ICA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics’ is holding its first Research Symposium and Conference in UK/Europe, September 18-19, 2009 at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London. The program includes a mix of research paper presentations and clinical lectures on a variety of interesting topics taught by an exceptional group of speakers with extensive practice experience in child and maternal care.
This symposium is designed to encourage credible research in chiropractic pediatrics and to provide a platform for researchers and authors to present their findings which could impact future research in this field, as well as the care provided by the chiropractic practitioner and/or other health professionals as well.
The clinical lectures include neurology, pregnancy, ligament laxity, nutrition, cancer and its implications for the chiropractic practitioner, and radiology which will encompass radiological procedures and the interpretation of studies. Technique workshops will teach advanced craniosacral protocols, pediatric adjusting of the occiput and axis, and technques for relieviing in-utero constraint. Speakers include Dr. Lora Tanis, Dr. Laura Hanson, Dr. Peter Fysh, Dr. Sharon Vallone, Dr. Joyce Miller and Dr Ian McLean. All of them are Board Certified in either pediatrics, orthopedics or radiology.
All doctors of chiropractic, students and faculty from chiropractic colleges are invited to attend this first of a kind educational event. Anyone interested in submitting an abstract for the research segment of the program should download "Call for Papers" for more information and deadlines.
