2004 Conference - General Information
License Renewal Credits
The program has been submitted for 18 hours of license renewal credits to all states (except Ohio and Oklahoma) by the Palmer Institute of Professional Advancement.
Automatic approval for Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming. If your state is not listed, it means that they have not yet responded to the Institute’s request for approval. You can call the Palmer Institute at 1-800-452-5032 for the most recent update or check your State Board’s website.
Hotel Information
The conference hotel is the Westin at Times Square, a brand new facility in the heart of New York City. It is steps away from Broadway theatres and connected to E-Walk, a 200,000 square foot entertainment/retail complex housing unique shopping, dining and entertainment venues. It is within easy access to midtown Manhattan and easily accessible to New York’s airports.
A block of rooms have been reserved for Conference attendees and vendors at the following discounted rates:

To make reservations call 1-888-627-7149 and ask for the International Chiropractors Association group rate. These rates are available Tuesday through Monday. However, the block is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. MAKE YOUR RESERVATION EARLY. Once the block is filled rooms may not be available at the group rate.
Transportation
You can fly into LaGuardia or JFK International as both of these airports are easily accessible to and from the hotel. La Guardia is less congested than JFK and cabs are easily available outside the terminal.
Registration
Advance registration ends June 7th. After that the rates increase by $60. There will not be any registrations available on site. All attendees must register in advance. The registration fee covers handouts and license renewal credits.
CPR Certification
A CPR certification course ( mandatory for health providers in many states) will be offered during the conference. This is a four-hour session and will be held on Saturday after lunch from 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. The course will be taught by Dr. Andrew De Saro, who is a certified instructor. There is an additional fee of $50 for this course to cover materials and certificate.
Night At The Ball Game
A fun evening has been planned for Friday evening to watch the Yankees vs. Anaheim Angels. All those who have purchased tickets to this evening’s event will board the buses for Yankee stadium. The Great Moments Room in the stadium has been reserved for the Pediatrics Council where everyone will enjoy a typical; “ball game” dinner prior to the game.
